Since 1931, Bel Canto Chorus has provided vast opportunities for singers to perform inspiring choral and orchestral repertoire.
As the "voice of the community," the organization seeks to weave the cultural fabric of Greater Milwaukee and enhance the quality of life in our community through regular special appearances and small group performances, international touring, and collaboration with other performing groups such as the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra and the Milwaukee Chamber Orchestra. Bel Canto Chorus is known throughout the choral music world as a preeminent vocal arts institution. Bel Canto Chorus is made up of local people with tremendous talent. Bel Canto singers come from all walks of life. Singers may be your banker, your postal worker, your children’s teacher, or the person who wrote the code for your favorite phone application. Everyone in Bel Canto Chorus is held to high musical standards and puts in 35+ hours of rehearsal for each concert.
