Considering Joining Bel Canto Senior Singers? 

Bel Canto Senior Singers welcomes seniors of all abilities, without auditions, and is led by professional conductors. We offer free to low-cost memberships, workshops, and scholarships, with in-person and virtual rehearsals and performances with an expanded reach through new partnerships like St. Ann's Center, focusing on aging adults, mental health, and socio-emotional well-being through music, and collaborating with community arts organizations.

• No audition to join

• Run by professional conductors & accompanists

• Learn basic musical concepts and practice good singing technique

  • Currently the minimal  membership fee per semester for 2026-27 is $30.  (scholarships available upon request)

• Virtual rehearsal open to all singers (Zoom link sent to all who register)

• In general, stay home when you aren't feeling well. Zoom recordings of the rehearsals are available for all who need it!​​ Senior Singers are welcome to wear masks, but masks are not required.​​

• Rehearsals are weekly and run 1.5 hours long. A typical rehearsal begins with gentle stretching and vocal warm-ups, and the bulk of rehearsal is spent learning the music that will be performed at the semester-end concert (Fall or Spring). 

• You'll sing a wide variety of music including classical, gospel, Broadway tunes, folk songs and familiar selections from the Great American Songbook. There's no such thing as a boring rehearsal!
