What's Interesting
  • A Bronze Triptych uses lyrics written by composer Charles Anthony Silvestri, and poetically traces the life cycle of bronze—from its origins in the earth, its dark use as a weapon in war, to its transformation through melting into a bell that now rings out in peace, vespers, and ultimately joy.
  • Good Night, Dear Heart was composed by Dan Forrest in response to a deeply personal family tragedy, using lyrics taken from the tombstone of Mark Twain’s daughter Susy, and adapted from a poem by Robert Richardson.
  • In Dan Forrest's Three Nocturnes, each movement features original texts by different lyricists (Sara Teasdale, Emily Dickinson and Walt Whitman), all thematically centered on stars and the night sky.
  • Triptych appears on Tarik O’Regan’s album Threshold of Night, which achieved notable acclaim, including reaching No. 10 on the Billboard Top Classical Albums chart.
