Michelle's love for the performing arts began at an early age, as she participated in children’s choirs and musicals. After earning a degree in Music and German from Knox College, and later earning a master’s degree in Performing Arts Administration from Roosevelt University, Michelle went on to pursue a career in the arts, leading organizations
including the Peoria Symphony Orchestra, Peoria Area Civic Chorale, Chicago Chamber Choir, and Lakeview Orchestra, where she quickly demonstrated her talent for program development, audience engagement, and fundraising.
As a skilled fundraiser, Michelle has developed and implemented numerous successful campaigns. She has a talent for building relationships with donors and sponsors, creating mutually beneficial partnerships that support the arts and bring joy to audiences.
